It's impossible to build a comprehensive list of (generative) AI tools that are out there, as the moment you complete it the landscape has changed again. There have been attempts, of course, such as the Creative AI Lab: https://creative-ai.org/ and the snapshot After School Club page by Cyanne van den Houten: https://telemagic.online/afterschool. 

As we don't have the resources available to keep such a list relevant, we're taking a bit of a different approach: Every once in a while we will add a link, tool or resource that is interesting at that moment, with the date we're sharing it on. This approach will make it more of a time machine than a comprehensive list. If you have any suggestions please let us know!

  • Ik heb een vraag over AI - AI-related Question-and-Answer page where researchers will share informed responses to AI-related questions (in Dutch)
  • Solid - "Solid is an evolution of the web by its creator Sir Tim Berners-Lee. Solid realizes Tim's original vision for the Web as a medium for the secure, decentralized exchange of public and private data." An attempt to wrestle your data away from Big Tech again. The Netherlands are building their own (marketing-focused) implementation of this tool: jouw.id, from Stichting Nederlandse Datakluis.
  • Comfy.UI - Visual, node-based UI and backend for diffusion model

Project AI at HKU has started a podcast on HKU & AI. For now it's HKU-only, but we will be looking into publishing it publicly later on. You can find it on the Medewerkersportal.
